President Paul Biya has provided assistance to the survivors of the devastating Mbankolo landslide that occurred on October 8th, 2023. A total of 92 million francs was distributed among 56 affected families, with Governor Naseri Paul Bea overseeing the distribution on behalf of the President. The Senior Divisional Officer (SDO) of Mfoundi and the Divisional Officer (D.O) of Yaoundé II were also present during the aid distribution ceremony.Governor Naseri Paul Bea expressed his condolences on behalf of the Head of State. He urged the survivors to utilize the money carefully in arranging dignified funerals for those who lost their lives, relocating from high-risk areas, and securing suitable residences.
